Covid-19 Safety

We’ve all felt the effects of the pandemic. It’s never been more important than to look after our health & wellbeing.

I take the safety of my clients very seriously so as a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR), I will continue to monitor their guidance and government regulations regarding best practice for treatments.

Stringent cleaning will be carried out before each client arrives:

  • Door handles and light switches

  • Treatment chair arms and all surfaces

  • Freshly laundered towels for each treatment

You:

  • All appointments must be pre-booked online and paid in advance.

  • To confirm your booking, you must first complete the short risk assessment form - this is to gauge if it is safe and appropriate for you to have a treatment.

  • You must NOT have been vaccinated for Covid19 within three days of your appointment.

  • Arrive promptly and alone to your appointment where possible. I won’t be able to accommodate anyone who has to wait for you.

  • I do not have a waiting area, so if you arrive early you will need to wait outside. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, I may not be able to accommodate you and you’ll be charged full cost of the treatment.

  • You will be required to wear a mask (unless you’re exempted) You can wear your own or I can provide you with one.

  • On arrival, i’ll ask you to remove your shoes and sanitise your hands.

  • After the consultation, i’ll ask you to remove your socks and turn up your trousers to above the ankle to start the treatment. Note: it is not possible to perform the treatment whilst wearing socks or tights.

  • Bring your own water bottle.

Me:

  • If I show symptoms or have been in contact with someone who is infected or suspected of being infected, I will cancel appointments for that day, take a test and if positive then I will contact NHS Track & Trace

  • I will wear a fresh new face mask for each client

  • I will personally clean all surfaces before and after each client

  • I will ensure that all appointments are adequately spaced to minimise contact with others and sufficient ventilation

  • I will ensure I wash my hands frequently and or use hand sanitiser

  • I will endeavour to try and maintain social distancing where possible

  • I do not claim to diagnose or cure any illnesses. I believe in working alongside general medical practitioners to promote wellbeing.

  • Reflexology should never be used as an alternative to seeking medical advice.

If you have any concerns, feel free to contact me before you book a treatment.
